Online Support
In response to the increased demand for mental health services, I am providing support via messaging and email. While I do not consider these forms of communication to be psychotherapy, I can provide support and guidance online. Online support is not intended as a substitute for individual or group psychotherapy.
How it works. Scheduled messaging is live through an online platform. While some websites provide “unlimited messaging,” I find that scheduled live messaging or emailing is more effective. More substantial, thoughtfully written emails are more impactful than random one-sentence texts and emojis here and there that are squeezed in between sessions. Email is an effective way to provide feedback, guidance and assign homework. I will provide prompts for client emails since it can be more focused, but clients can email me any updates and questions.
