A safe haven for new mamas

(Currently the group is on a break. Thanks for your patience.)

The New Moms’ Support Group is a safe haven for new moms adjusting to motherhood. Reflect on the joys and struggles (are there many!) of being a new mom and your relationship with baby, yourself, and significant people in your life such as your partner. Groups are in a warm and down-to-earth setting, and moms are welcome to bring baby, change diapers, feed baby, whatever you need to be comfortable! This group is ideal but not limited to moms with babies age 0 to 12 months.

One goal of the group is to equip moms with a toolkit that can be used not only to survive but to thrive. Some topics we may cover:

  • Basic Mom Care/Maternal mental wellness

  • Mindful parenting

  • Postpartum depression/anxiety

  • Strengthening significant relationships (e.g. partner)

  • Your identity

  • Developing and maintaining healthy habits with a crazy busy schedule!

  • Going back to work (or not!)

Currently the group is taking a break. Please contact me to inquire about the next cycle. Sessions are $30 and are 85 minutes. There is no minimum number of sessions to commit to. I will help particpants determine if insurance will help pay for the groups. Please see my insurance page for more information.

Please note that the New Moms’ Support Group is not intended as a substitute for individual or group psychotherapy.
